Just spent two nights in this beautiful cottage with my husband & friends. We had such a lovely time, the cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay & it was really cosy on a night with the log burning fire going & the Christmas tree all lite. Staithes is such a gorgeous place to visit, we enjoyed a delicious meal at the Cod & Lobster one night & the 2nd night we cooked at the cottage so we could enjoy the stunning kitchen/dining area. Sea views from 2 of the bedrooms & from the balcony. The service from the owners was amazing, I will definitely recommend to friends & family, and we would love to come back in the near future. Very happy guest 😊🙏🏻

We had the most wonderful stay at this gorgeous, cosy cottage right on the coast of Staithes. The views were absolutely stunning - waking up to the sound of the sea and looking out over the coastline felt magical. The cottage itself was warm, beautifully kept and perfect for our family, with plenty of space to relax and feel at home.
The host went above and beyond, leaving thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special. We also really appreciated the helpful recommendations for local things to do in the area.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return!

We stayed in the cottage as a party of 4 adults and it was our first time visiting Staithes! Everything we needed was in the cottage. The kitchen has everything we needed and there was enough logs for the fire to be lit for 2 nights. Beds were comfy and the sofa was even comfier. We used the balcony quite a bit as we got decent weather for November. The village is quaint and scenic with 2 pubs, one practically on the doorstep, both serve delicious food. Would definitely visit again and stay in this cottage, couldn't find fault with it and the hosts were great communicating before our visit.

We had such a lovely stay at this gorgeous cottage in Staithes. It was just right for us and our toddler, the owners really have thought of everything! Having the kids’ books, toys, high chair, toddler toilet seat, and little step made life so much easier and meant we didn’t have to pack half the house.
The location couldn’t be better, right on the water with stunning views, and literally seconds from the pub and some lovely cafes. It felt so cosy and welcoming, and we honestly can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful and well thought out.
The beds are really comfortable and it's got to be one of the best satees we have ever had in Staithes. Comfortable and plenty of seating for everyone.
Loved that we was in the village but just slightly away from the High street.
Looking forward to staying again.😀

Our first visit to Barbers Cottage but hopefully not our last. Already recommended it to friends and family. We were lucky to have amazing weather while we were there and made the most of the outside decking area. Communication with the owners both before and during our stay was the best we’ve ever experienced during our 20+ years of visiting Staithes.

We loved how the cottage was laid out with the kitchen/dining room on one level, the living room with a fireplace, on the next and the bedrooms on the higher floors. The kitchen was well appointed with modern appliances with access to the balcony overlooking the ocean. After dinner we spent a cozy evening in front of the fireplace, warm and snug. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves under the warm duvet in our bedroom. During the day we explored the harbour and walked along the breakwaters. As the evening wore on the tide begun to come back into the harbour. For our dinner we ate at the Cod and Lobster. Highly recommended. All in all we were most impressed with the layout of the cottage which provided unique spaces for eating, sleeping or just hanging out in front of the fire. The internet was lightning fast! Barber’s Cottage is a wonderful cosy cottage, situated in the beautifully picturesque village of Staithes. Staying here, we enjoyed easy access to the beach and coastal walks as well as the pubs and shops. The cottage is perfectly set up for families, and is very comfortable. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that has real character, Barber’s Cottage comes highly recommended.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage, amazing location with gorgeous sea views from the balcony. Plenty of space for a large family, very clean and children loved being a 2 min walk from beach and cafes. Will definitely book again!

The perfect escape for hectic life. We have visited Staithes many time and fallen in love with it. This was our first time at Barbers Cottage but it wont be our last. Its wonderfully cosy and has the perfect setting on the water front. We spent every evening sat on the balcony listened to the waves. The hosts were so welcoming and make sure you have everything you need for a relaxing break. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful escape!

We had a delightful stay at Barber's Cottage! The charm and coziness of the cottage made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, just a short stroll from the stunning coastline and the quaint village shops and eateries. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace after a day of exploring. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was memorable. We can't wait to return!
